As the owner of a high-efficiency Freeman Comfort 13, 14, or 16 plus SEER R-410A Air Conditioner, you have made one of the best purchasing decisions possible in the HVAC marketplace. At G.R. Freeman Heating & Air Conditioning Inc., we strive to supply heating and air conditioning equipment that offers high performance, energy efficiency, durability, and an environment-complimenting design.
You can count on your Freeman Comfort R-410A Air Conditioner to keep you cool on even the hottest summer days. The high-efficiency scroll compressor operates in tandem with a high-efficiency coil, cooling your home effectively while saving you money on your energy bills.
A liquid-line filter dryer is in every air conditioner we install. The filter dryer prevents moisture and debris from entering the compressor motor and expansion device, thus extending the life of the system. Many companies leave this step out, but our air conditioners have had filter dryers since day one.
It's this special touch that makes our air conditioners stand out among others in the industry.
Air Conditioning SEER Ratings
"SEER" stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio, which is a measurement of an air conditioner or heat pump's cooling energy efficiency developed by the U.S. Department of Energy. It's a simple formula: the higher the SEER of your unit, the greater its efficiency - and the lower your operating costs.
Your new Freeman Comfort Air Conditioner offers efficiencies of 13 SEER or higher, providing significant savings compared to many older units. (See chart for savings comparison.)
We know that the last thing you want to hear at night is a noisy air conditioner starting up. Freeman Comfort Air Conditioners are built with sound-dampening features that help ensure that your cooling system doesn't interfere with a good night's sleep. We rely on a quiet condenser fan system - an 8-pole, 850-RPM motor, a three-bladed fan, and a unique louvered sound-control top - to reduce fan-related noise. Your Freeman Comfort Air Conditioner will keep you cool and comfortable - but you may not hear it when it's working!
At G.R. Freeman Heating & Air Conditioning Inc., we take pride in our comfort products. We rely on strict, quality-driven processes to provide well-designed, top-quality, thoroughly tested products, backed by the best standard and extended warranties in the industry. Our units are leak-tested three separate times during the manufacturing process, and run-tests are performed before shipment. This quality focus insures a trouble-free installation and a long product life.
As the owner of a high-efficiency heat pump, you have made one of the best purchasing decisions possible in the HVAC marketplace. Why do we say this? Because at G.R. Freeman Heating & Air Conditioning Inc., we strive to supply air conditioning and heating equipment that offers high performance, energy efficiency and durability.
In particular, your Freeman Comfort 13, 14, or 16 plus SEER High-Efficiency Heat Pump, with heating efficiencies of up to 8.6 plus HSPF, will provide you with reliable cooling and heating at money-saving energy efficiency levels. See the benefits of this high quality heat pump below.
You can count on your Freeman Comfort High-Efficiency Heat Pump to keep you cool on even the hottest summer days, and warm when the thermometer drops. Your Freeman Comfort heat pump starts with a high-performance, high-efficiency scroll compressor, which operates in tandem with our high-efficiency coil. The coil is made of refrigeration-grade copper tubing and aluminum fins in a design that maximizes surface area. These high-quality components together heat and cool your home effectively while saving you money on your energy bills!
And if that's not enough, G.R. Freeman Heating & Air Conditioning Inc., goes one step further: we install a liquid-line filter drier in every heat pump we install. The filter drier prevents moisture and debris from entering the compressor motor and expansion device, thus preserving the life of the system. Many companies leave this step out, but our heat pumps have had filter driers since day one.
It's this special touch that makes our heat pumps stand out among others in the industry. Your Unit's Operating Costs and SEER/HSPF.
"SEER" stands for Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio, which is a measure of an air conditioner or heat pump's cooling energy efficiency developed by the U.S. Department of Energy. It's a simple formula: the higher the SEER of your unit, the greater its efficiency - and the lower your operating costs. Today's minimum manufacturing standard, as directed by the federal government, is 10 SEER for cooling.
Similarly, "HSPF" stands or Heating Seasonal Performance Factor, which is a measure of your unit's heating efficiency. Today's minimum manufacturing standard is 6.85 HSPF for heat pumps.
Older installed units in many homes may have actual operational efficiencies that are even lower than today's minimum standards. In many cases, these older units can really inflate the electric bill.
However, your Freeman Comfort Heat Pump offers efficiencies of 13 SEER plus and 8.6 HSPF plus, providing significant savings. (See chart for savings comparison.) In fact, these units are so efficient that they meet the higher standard of the Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) Energy Star Program!

A Freeman Comfort Two Stage (Convertible) Gas Furnace is the answer to your family's heating needs. Whether it's the 95% AFUE GMH95 Two-Stage (Convertible) Multi-Speed Gas Furnace, or the
80% AFUE GMH8 Two-Stage (Convertible) Multi-Speed Gas Furnace, your family will stay warm and comfortable all winter long.
Unlike Conventional, single-stage furnace technology, Freeman Comfort eliminated the temperature swings resulting from abrupt, high-stage stops-and-starts of the furnace by operating at a low heating stage the majority of the time.
Freeman Comfort 95% AFUE High-Efficiency Gas Furnace with two-stage heating and a variable-speed circulating blower provides a total comfort home-heating alternative - efficiently and economically. This furnace's variable-speed circulating blower reduces operating costs and advances home comfort by reducing temperature swings and stratification from floor to ceiling. Unlike standard furnaces that run "all on" or "all off," a Freeman Comfort variable-speed furnace runs 90% of the time in a low-heat capacity on most days, but when the weather is very cold, ramps up to high-heat capacity so that your family stays warm and snug. The variable-speed blower improves air circulation and helps keep the air temperature more consistent throughout your home.
At 95% AFUE, your high-efficiency Freeman Comfort GMH95 Furnace meets the stringent requirements of the Environmental Protection Agency's Energy Star Program. Our 95% AFUE furnace boasts an aluminized-steel tubular primary heat exchanger and a stainless-steel secondary heat exchanger.
The components of your GMH95 or GMH8 furnace have been specifically selected to reduce the noise levels common in other furnaces. Plus, we house these components in a fully insulated, heavy-guage steel cabinet. The result? Extra-quiet comfort.
We warranty your Freeman Comfort furnace with one of the best warranties in the industry. We cover the heat exchanger with a lifetime warranty to the original, registered homeowner and provide 10 Year Parts and Labor Warranty on all functional parts for residential units.
You can depend on well-designed, top-quality, thoroughly tested products, backed by some of the best standard warranties in the industry. Every single Freeman Comfort furnace and air conditioner is run-tested before shipment to help ensure trouble-free installation and long product life.
You've taken care to select reliable, long-lasting heating and cooling equipment for your household. Take that attention to quality one step further by choosing a Freeman Comfort evaporator coil or air handler for your system.
The indoor evaporator coil is installed with your outdoor cooling unit with copper tubing. During unit operation, warm return air passes over the coil to be cooled and then provided back to the living space. If you use a heat pump to heat and cool your home, it will most likely utilize an air handler. An air handler is comprised of an evaporator coil and blower, which circulates cooled or heated air throughout your home. (If you are using an air conditioner and furnace system, the blower in your furnace handles this task.)
When properly matched with your outdoor unit, Freeman Comfort indoor coils and air handlers significantly improve your system's performance and help reduce energy costs. They provide years of comfort, quiet and dependable operation.
